I got bored and did this. I actually tried to translate features over. It’s not just someone’s face slapped over it.

Very slow comic. Could you speed up the story?

Not really. All of this is necessary setup so that we understand the “Why” and “How” of Luke’s journey to becoming Lara. The fact that all of this is communicated to us in just 23 pages is pretty impressive. IMO, the comic is moving at a very good pace.

Every time someone makes this comment, I like to imagine that Sam slows the story down, just to spite such selfish commenters.

It is not slow for Luke now. It is slow only for us. Six illustrations of creating an account it is a little bit too much.

It didn’t take six panels for Luke to create an account. At most, it took two panels, the fourth and fifth panels in particular.

Every panel of this page advances the story in a new way – The first panel has Luke wondering what he should do now that he’s got breasts for the next half day, then he realizes that he can test Karl’s theory about female streamers being more successful than male streamers, then he realizes that he’ll have to create a new account for Lara, then a screenshot of making a new account as well as telling us her username, then a reaction shot to finding out that her account creation was successful, then a realization that he can’t show Lara’s face without potentially being recognized, and finally Luke’s solution to that problem.

Each of those is a necessary step if we want to see how Luke goes from a male streamer to a female streamer. That’s not slow at all. To tell us all of that in just seven panels is pretty fast.

OK, because of a streamer I follow and his fan consistency of creating accounts around memes of the stream, I had to check if MsLovelyLara existed as a twitch account. … It does not exist … yet. There were quite a few MsLovely______ .

Even if MsLovelyLara existed on Twitch, that doesn’t matter because Luke isn’t using Twitch. He’s using Switch. They’re obviously similar, but they’re not the same thing.

Showing that will definitely attract followers….

She needs a new background. His followers know what his (studio) looks like but I think he’ll give away his identity if there are too many coincidences.

That’s kinda why Luke created a new account to use as Lara.

Then again you’d be surprised what information a few obsessed internet sleuths can dig up.

And with the view he’s giving them, it’s not likey they will see the background any way.

I suppose if someone notices that it is the same room, he could say that Lara is his cousin and is using his set up to try streaming for herself, before investing in her own equipment.
