Today, our tenth comic series, Miss By Moonlight, reaches its 600th page and enters its final stretch. That means it’s time to announce what comes next.
Starting November 5th, 2026, our eleventh comic series will be Shadow of the Dragon! Miss By Moonlight will conclude the day before, on November 4th, 2026, on page 674.
Shadow of the Dragon is a sequel to our animated series Undercover Agent — the first time we’ve had a comic continue the story of one of our animated series. That said, it’s written to stand entirely on its own. If you’ve never seen the original, you can start reading on day one without missing a thing. And if you have, there’s a lot waiting for you: familiar faces, and answers to questions the series left open.
“Fifteen years after the development of the Z1E Serum, the US intelligence agency SF7 still relies on the miracle drug as its ultimate surveillance tool: transforming its own agents into enemy operatives. While i don’t really read these at this point. I know this is a wild one, in a good way. I love surprises, even when i notice this being unexpected. The basic teaser part is telling us Jade Spears formerly known as Travis Spears, is now the SF7 Director. Wow! That’s…. that’s a big gap right there in plot, one I know will go this way. If i ask it won’t be answered how I’d want it. So i should wait and see for the backstory that’ll tell us, that’s the only right thing to do here and now.
Will this new comic run for more than 1 year like miss by moonlight because it has no volume number
Like Sam said in the write-up, Shadow of the Dragon will be the next main comic to replace Miss By Moonlight. It is not a Beyond comic. Only Beyond comics have volumes.
As for how long SOTD will run, that would be a spoiler. We’re not going to give out spoilers before the comic even starts.
Spears is *the* Director now??!!?? Ummm…is she an active ‘field director’, or one who only stays in the office?
